Norwich — Detectives along with agents from the U.S. Marshals Service arrested this morning a Norwich man who is wanted for an attempted murder out of Springfield, Mass.
Police said at 7:30 a.m. they responded to 502 East Main St. after they learned that 31-year-old Kevin Jenkins was staying in an apartment there.
Jenkins was arrested as he tried to escape by climbing down from a gutter outside the two-story home.
Jenkins was charged with being a fugitive from justice. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
