Norwich – A 19-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries during a large fight in the Greenville section of the city last night, police said. The Norwich Police Department patrol division responded to the area of Central Avenue and Sixth Street at 11 p.m. for a large fight between eight to 10 people in the roadway, police said. A male victim was taken to William W. Backus hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening stab wound, police said. The victim’s name was not given in a press release sent out by Norwich police. The fight is still under investigation and police ask anyone with information on the incident to call Detective Darren Powers at 860-886-5561 or the anonymous tip line at 860-886-5561, extension 500.
