Waterford - Harold and Carol Hansen, of Waterford, pose for a photo in the back seat of a 1935 Rolls Royce owned by Thomas Murray, right, of Guilford, in the parking lot at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford Wednesday.

The Hansens were on a stroll at the park when they spotted Murray and his vintage auto and stopped to admire it. Murray, who is the Yale University organist and a professor of music at Yale, took advantage of today's spring-like weather for a drive with the top down in his all-weather sedan.

"It is such a nice day," he said, "I so wanted to take it for a drive." Murray is the fifth owner of the car which was sold to an owner in the U.S. from Scotland in 1973 by the son of the original owner. Murray has owned it since 2000.
