OS Girls’ Tennis Splits Week

The Old Saybrook girls' tennis squad lost to HK earlier last week before defeating Cromwell to bring its record to 6-6 with the regular season winding down.

On May 7, the Rams lost a close 4-3 contest to HK. Earning victories for Old Saybrook were Myeerah Zhang at No. 2 singles and Daniela Palomeque at No. 4 singles, while third doubles tandem Krishna Patel and Amanda Lee also earned a win.

On May 11, the Rams shut out Cromwell 7-0. Alex Steward, Zhang, Christie DeAntonis, and Palomeqe all won in singles, while the doubles tandems of Allyson Hanover and Mackenzie Beal, Ming Comey and Sonam Dolma, and Patel and Lee all won their respective matches.
