The Guilford golf team split a pair of matches last week, upping its record to 9-4.

On May 7, the Indians played their second match of the season against rival Hand. Both teams call the Madison Country Club home and it was the Tigers who for the second time came away with the victory, 149-161. Trent Kaisen led the charge for Guilford with a 38, while Ryan Moore (39), Noah Criscuolo (41), and Luke Summerlin (43) all posted scoring cards for the Indians.

The effects of the loss wouldn't linger long as the Indians were back on the course on May 9, defeating East Haven 148-173. Playing at Alling Memorial Golf Club, Guilford was led by Moore, who was the match's medalist with a 36. Nate Misbach (37), Criscuolo (37), and Kaisen (38) all followed.
