Jonas Brothers, you're so, like, yesterday.
The new boy heartthrobs at top of the pop heap are - cue the girl-fan hysteria - One Direction.
They're from England. They're from Simon Cowell's "The X Factor (UK)." They're singers. They're catnip to female tweens.
Oh, and they're opening their American tour at Mohegan Sun Arena Tuesday.
One Dimension - er, I mean, One Direction - has posted some impressive numbers with their debut CD, "Up All Night." It entered the U.S. Billboard chart at #1 - and that meant they became the first British group to see their debut album accomplish that feat. Then their single "What Makes You Beautiful" sold more than 131,000 copies in its first week. Not bad. Tickets on their American tour have been selling out in record time.

Should the state intervene in the New London school system?
