Norwich — Jake Unwin pitched five shutout innings in relief as fourth-seeded East Lyme won its third straight Eastern Connecticut Conference baseball tournament championship on Friday night with a 5-3 victory over No. 2 Fitch at Dodd Stadium.
Zach Kane led the Vikings offensively with three hits, two runs and an RBI. Earlier in the day East Lyme eliminated No. 1 Montville 4-2 while the Falcons ousted No. 6 Lyman memorial 4-1.
