Easy Meeting, with East Coast headquarters in Mystic, has announced a global partnership with WhyGo Videoconferencing Ltd. to provide businesses and individuals a simple way to book public video conferencing facilities around the world.
Easy Meeting, found on the Internet at easymeeting.net, is a division of the Norwegian firm Avikom and has offices in Oslo, London and Sydney, Australia. WhyGo has offices in Sydney, Amsterdam, London and Dallas.
"With easymeeting.net we now further strengthen our global position by listing our searchable sites in their easy to use conferencing room directory," said James Matthews, chief executive of WhyGo, in a statement. "Search by city, business name or even country and the user will easily locate the rooms that are available to book."
Evan J. Andriopoulos, chief executive of Easy Meeting and a native of East Lyme, said the partnership with WhyGo allows the company to expand the global footprint of its search engine and directory services.
"Together with WhyGo Videoconferencing and via the easymeeting.net search engine and global directory, we have more than 5,000 video conferencing rooms available across the globe, and that number is growing exponentially as businesses look to utilize this great technology," Andriopoulos said in a statement.
Customers can locate video conferencing sites by going to http://www.easymeeting.net and searching for rooms.
