Plainfield – Police said a Moosup man rammed his brother-in-law's tractor with his own tractor during a family feud Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Alexander Olearos, 60, of 117 Olearos Hill Road was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police said Olearos’ brother-in-law, Bernard Utz, 69, of 75 Olearos Hill Road, was cutting hay in a field on his tractor around 12:15 p.m. when Utz saw Olearos driving towards him. Utz told police he stopped his tractor but Olearos continued and rammed into him, causing damage to a tire.

Plainfield police held Olearos on $10,000 bond and he is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Danielson Superior Court.
