Sea Research Foundation's Mystic Aquarium kicks off its inaugural Summer Drive-in Movie Series on Thursday, June 28, with James Cameron's "Titanic," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. The film will be projected on a 40-foot screen in the aquarium's gravel parking lot on the corner of Coogan Blvd. and Jerry Brown Rd.
The movie's sound will stream through car radio, and hot dogs, popcorn, soda and ice cream will be available for purchase.
The parking lot opens at 8 p.m. and the movie begins at 9 p.m. Only 140 cars will be admitted at $20 per car. Advance tickets can be purchased at mysticaquarium.org.
Which rival tall ships event will you attend July 6-9, OpSail 2012 in New London or the Ocean State Tall Ships Festival in Newport?
