LMFAO spells F-U-N at Mohegan Sun

Nepotism has long wielded its cruel power in the arts business. Thanks, then, music mogul Barry Gordy, for unleashing your son Redfoo and your grandson SkyBlu, who perform and sell millions of electro-pop records under the name LMFAO.

The outfit appears tonight with their Party Rock Crew at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The music consists of moronic, beat-happy shout-outs to Bachannalian abandon, as on the CDs "Party Rock" and "Sorry For Party Rockin'."

Fun to note: too bad the Party Rock Crew can't perform "Party Rock" and "Sorry For Party Rockin'" with one-time Molly Hatchett vocalist Danny Joe Brown. He once released an album with a sticker on it that said, "Danny Joe Brown and the Danny Joe Brown Band featuring Danny Joe Brown.”
