The sky's the limit for these fireworks

Welcome back what is arguably the most popular event in the region each year: the fireworks display during Sailfest.
Foxwoods once again sponsors the Mashantucket Pequots Fireworks Extravaganza, which draws thousands upon thousands of fans to New London and Groton.
The boom-and-bursts from Garden State Fireworks start brightening the skies over the Thames River Saturday night. Per usual, there will be the traditional call across the river. (That call is more than the inevitable "oohs" and "aahs.")
