New London — A man suffered head contusions and bleeding on the brain early Sunday morning after allegedly being attacked by two men and jumping off a porch at 74 West St., police said.
Police said Alba Ariel’s injuries were non-life threatening and that he could not identify his assailants. He was dropped off at the emergency room at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital by a family friend. Ariel’s age and address were not provided by police.
Police said they were called to 74 West St. by a man who said his porch had been damaged as a result of a party. As officers were investigating the incident, hospital personnel called police to report that an assault victim had arrived for treatment. Police said they were unable to locate the crime scene where Ariel sustained his injuries.
