UPDATED: Temporary parking ban planned for downtown Mystic

The Groton Town Police wants to remind the public that there will be no parking allowed in the downtown Mystic area from 9 p.m. today to 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The temporary ban will allow for street painting on West Main Street from the Drawbridge to High Street and portions of Bank, Pearl, Gravel and Water streets.

All businesses will remain open.

Police said to expect traffic delays. There will be up to two hours of free parking at the Mystic Art Association lot.
