Police charge two after paintball strikes vehicle

New London – Two men were arrested Tuesday night near Caulkins Park after they allegedly fired a paintball gun, causing damage to a vehicle.

Police charged Johnathan E. Perez, 34, of 43 Riverview Ave. and Jesus A. Quinones, 32, of 70 Farmington Ave., Apt. 4T, each with criminal mischief and discharging a weapon in a city park.

Deputy Police Chief Peter Reichard said officers were called to 113 Pequot Ave., where police arrested the men. One paintball gun was confiscated, Reichard said.
