Updyke - Petrafesa

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Updyke of East Lyme, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Joy to John Petrafesa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzo Petrafesa of Stamford.

Kimberly Updyke is a 2004 graduate of East Lyme High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Connecticut. She received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction and is employed at Juliska, Stamford, as a production development coordinator.

John Petrafesa is a 2004 graduate of Stamford High School, received his undergraduate degree in 2008 from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, and is a 2010 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University. He received his master's degree in business administration and is employed at Cafe Silvium, Stamford.

A December 2012 wedding is planned for the Surf Club, New Rochelle, N.Y.
