Waterford - The addition of urban clothing chain EbLens highlights changes in the Crystal Mall's lineup of stores this summer.

The mall announced this week that EbLens, New England's largest independently owned urban retailer, will be opening in August on the lower level next to Sears. EbLens stores in Groton and Norwich will remain open.

A mall spokewoman said other changes include the relocation of Toy Vault Inc. and Metro PCS to new areas of the mall. The collectible store Toy Vault is opening on the upper level near JC Penney, while the cellphone service provider Metro PCS has found a spot next to the Christmas Tree Shops.

"I'm sure our shoppers will be pleased with these new additions in our beautifully renovated shopping center," said Chris Bastien, Crystal Mall's director of marketing, in a statement.

Spokeswoman Jillian Kuzyk said the mall, which completed a $10 million renovation in June, also will be introducing sometime next month three new boutique shops within JC Penney devoted to the major clothing brands Levi's, The Original Arizona Jean Co. and iJeans by Buffalo.
