Charter Oak names two new vice presidents

Groton - Charter Oak Federal Credit Union announced the promotion this month of four people, including two new vice presidents.

Patricia Michaud of Westerly has been named vice president of Charter Oak's accounting department, while Deborah Snajczuk of East Haddam is the new vice president heading the mortgage department.

The Groton-based credit union also has announced the promotion of Tammi Darby to assistant vice president of training and Kimberly Bryant as manager of human resources.

"These employees total more than 70 years of Charter Oak loyalty and experience," said Brian Orenstein, Charter Oak's chief executive, in a statement.

Michaud has been with Charter Oak for 16 years, and had been an assistant vice president since 2005. She is a graduate of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I..

Snajczuk, an 11-year veteran of Charter Oak, also has been an assistant vice president since 2005. She is a graduate of the Credit Union National Association's management school.

Darby, a Ledyard resident, has managed the credit union's Long Hill Road, Norwich and Dayville branches. She was named manager of the training department in 2007.

Bryant, who lives in Lisbon, has been a benefits manager, benefits administrator and training specialist for Charter Oak. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College in Providence.
