Jennifer Lopez hits Mohegan Sun

When Jennifer Lopez signed on to be an "American Idol" judge a couple years ago, I thought, "Wow. What a way to publicly announce that your career is over."

Silly me. Yes, Lopez had lost her showbiz luster at that point, but "Idol" was a super-shrewd move. It revived interest in her in a big way. Her songs suddenly popped up again on the radio (led by her hit "On the Floor"), and she started starring again on the big screen (although "What to Expect When You're Expecting" wasn't exactly a blockbuster).

So, with career fully regenerated, Lopez has bagged "Idol" and is continuing to forge her very own movie and music revival.

She's touring with Enrique Iglesias - and stops for a concert tonight at Mohegan Sun. Expect dancing and lip-syncing (shocking, I know!) and crazy-cool costumes.
