Old Saybrook names interim superintendent

The Executive Search Committee of the Old Saybrook Board of Education has chosen Heston Sutman to serve as interim superintendent of schools for the 2012-13 school year following the retirement of Superintendent Joseph Onofrio II.

The school board also installed Mandy Ryan as 2012-13 interim director of curriculum, instruction and assessment, the position Sutman held. Ryan most recently served as associate principal of Old Saybrook Middle School.
