Mohegan — Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment has announced two new appointments to its leadership team, naming David Martinelli chief marketing officer and Judy Newman-Locke vice president of human resources management.

After more than 20 years as Mohegan Sun’s chief marketing officer, Martinelli was promoted to CMO of MGE, the casino’s corporate parent. He previously served as a financial planning and analysis manager, working closely with the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA, and as business manager of Mohegan Sun Arena. He served as vice president of customer relationship management and eventually CMO.

Newman-Locke joined MGE after several years of experience in global and domestic human resources management. She was senior director of global human resources at The Leading Hotels of the World Ltd. and principal and owner of Grey Heron Partners.
