Bluegrass buddies

Published August 03. 2012 4:00AM

Yvonne Sekscenski, right, of Higganum, and Janet Jacobson of Kensington join Larry Bartlett, left, of Wallingford in singing the chorus of 'She's No Angel' with Joe Arsenault of Winchester, N.H., at Dodd Stadium in Norwich on Thursday. The four gathered with a group of friends for a jam session at the campground that has popped in the parking lot for the opening day of the Podunk Bluegrass Festival. The festival is taking place through Sunday. The friends travel and camp together as they have traveled to several bluegrass festivals in the New England area each summer since the early '90s.

What's your reaction to the controversy that's followed comments denouncing same-sex marriage by Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy?
Cathy has a right to his position and others have a right to voice their opposition.
I agree with Cathy and he has my support.
The head of a large company has no business making those comments publicly.
I will not patronize that business because it does not reflect my values.
I don't really care about this issue. Is there even a Chick-fil-A in Connecticut?
