Worst - Viekman

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Worst were married on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. The bridal party included sisters of the bride and groom, Sarah Viekman, as maid of honor, and LCDR Jessica Worst, Krista Kock, and Michelle King. LT Joshua Empen was the best man, and groomsmen were LT Hoon Park, LCDR Chris Culpepper, and LCDR Jason Jessup.

The bride, Rebekah Ruth Viekman, is the daughter of Capt. Bruce E. and Marla T. Viekman of Crofton, Md., and granddaughter of August and Jean Viekman.

Rebekah graduated from the University of Maryland, Robert H Smith School of Business. She is currently employed as a staff accountant for Hertzbach & Co., P.A. in Baltimore.

The groom, Nicholas Shaughnessy Worst, is the son of Victor and Donna Worst of Ledyard and the grandson of Ann Shaughnessy of Groton.

Nicholas graduated from Ledyard High School and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 2002. LT Worst is currently serving as the chief, Promotions Section office, Arlington, Va.

The couple honeymooned in Antigua and are currently residing in Arlington, Va.
