Don't sing national anthem as a solo

I firmly agree with the July 11 letter, "National anthem should be sacrosanct," and the July 23 letter, "No need to change our great anthem."
First of all, I firmly believe our national anthem should not be performed as a solo. It should be sung by everyone, regardless of how hard it is to sing.
You never hear "O Canada" or "God Save the Queen" sung as a solo. Furthermore, I think The Day is very foolish to encourage other ways to sing our anthem. Leave well enough alone.
