Yes, that's me in the scene with Streep and Jones

It’s been a long wait for my fans, but as many of you know, my film with Tommy Lee Jones and Meryl Streep finally opens nationally today. “Hope Springs” had its Stonington premiere the other day, and cinemas were packed. Iconic film critic Roger Ebert seemed to kinda, sorta like it.clip. Behind Streep and Jones you’ll see me cross the street with my man and my little girl. Look sharp at the four-second mark. By the 10-second mark my big moment is history.

I won’t go so far as to say I steal the show, but if you want to see my big scene before you head to the cinema, check out this

My people have seen the film, but the little girl and I will not be going. Apparently, the content is a little inappropriate for us young, innocent types.

And don’t worry, my fame hasn’t changed me; I’m still my down-to-Earth, tender self.

But I think it has changed the way others view me. I was at the dog park yesterday when I went over to say “hi” to a German shepherd, and he suddenly turned on me, sinking his teeth into my adorable floppy ears. I went into my civil disobedience pose (rolling onto my back, exposing my tummy), and our people quickly intervened. Pretty sure I heard the hound mutter something about ending up on the cutting room floor as his person led him away.

Meryl told me to expect that there would be some jealousy when the film came out, so I guess I’ll just have to take things as they come.

I’m still giving free paw-tographs in case you were wondering.

As always, however, bacon is welcome.
