Murphy the best choice for Senate

The stakes in this election are very high. I urge you to vote for Chris Murphy for U. S. Senator in the Democratic Primary on Tuesday.

Chris is currently our Fifth District congressman, who has spent the last six years fighting to create jobs, holding Wall Street accountable and protecting us consumers.

He has come to East Lyme and our region on numerous occasions to meet our neighbors and speak to local groups.

He has been working to bring our troops home from Afghanistan and Chris continues to work for them so that they get the best VA health care they have rightly earned.

Chris Murphy has a record of winning tough elections. He has the support of thousands of grassroots Democrats, as well as the support of Senator Blumenthal and the entire congressional delegation.

He has been at the forefront in the House of Representatives as someone who reaches across the aisle to find fair and workable solutions in this angry, divisive time in our history.
