Norwich – Police seized cash and heroin Monday afternoon during the search of the home of an alleged city drug dealer.
Police charged Malik J. White, 38, of 38 Spaulding St., Apt. B, with sale of heroin, possession of heroin and possession of heroin with the intent to sell within 1,500-feet of a school.
Police said an investigation into the sale of heroin in the city culminated with Monday’s search of White’s home. There, police found more than $360 cash and an amount of heroin pre-packaged for street-level sales.
White is being held on $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear Tuesday in Norwich Superior Court.
