State police investigate robbery in North Stonington

North Stonington — State police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a home on Mains Crossing early Sunday morning.

The incident is being investigated by the Eastern District Major Crime Squad.

Police said two white men, one who is around 6 feet, 2 inches tall and the other who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, entered the residence and tied up three people who were inside.

Police said a gun was displayed. They said the incident was not random, but would not elaborate any further.

One person was injured during the incident and taken to an area hospital.

No further information is available at this time.
