The Republicans criticized the closing of Sherwood Island State Park because President Obama's helicopter was parked there while he was nearby.

They forgot that Bluff Point State Park was closed when President George W. Bush was here to visit the Coast Guard Academy. I know because I was not allowed in.

Maybe the secret service was worried about all those walkers, canoers, joggers, bikers, clam diggers and fisher people. Shouldn't what's "required" for the safety of the Republican president also be "required" for the safety of the Democratic president?
