To paraphrase that great philosopher Heidi Klum: in rock, one day you're in and the next day you're out.
We'll take that one step farther: And then, inevitably, a couple decades later, you're back in again.
The thing is, music styles tend to go in cycles, which is why, say, dance music - maligned for so long - is back in all its 1980-ish glory. With that '80s resurgence comes a renewed appreciation for those poster-boy princes of New Wave, Duran Duran.
The group's "All You Need Is Now" impressed critics when it was released in December 2010. The album was produced by Mark Ronson. The former wild boys are set to dive into a follow-up project early next year. And if you wan to read all about the behind-the-scenes shenanigans, bassist John Taylor is releasing a book about his life with the group titled "In the Pleasure Groove: Love, Death and Duran Duran."
