Monday marked the 30th anniversary of the initial shipment of Newman's Own salad dressing to Stew Leonard's in Norwalk, the first retail outlet to carry the Connecticut-born brand.
The food company, founded by the late actor Paul Newman, has gone on to donate 100 percent of its profits to charity, totaling more than $350 million so far.

The Newman's Own Foundation has pledged $30 million to charity this year.
