Reggae? Yeah, we get the whole herb-as-lifestyle concept.
But who'da thunk the day would come when a rock band's two-decade-long devotion to marijuana would seem at best quaint?
Consider Rezin, a Norwalk-based power trio, now in their 24th year together, who are playing Friday at New London's Bank Street Cafe. Their website is emblazoned with pot leaf icons, a proclamation that their music is "Hemp-core," and that their "smoking" mission is to "weed out new venues." They even have albums respectively titled "Outta-Erb" and "Bong Hits."
Give it hell, dudes. As we used to say in the south, "Nary stems, nary seeds, my brothers!"
