Police seek witnesses in Wednesday incident near Colman Street

New London – Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward after a report Wednesday night of four shots fired in the area of Colman Street and Riozzi Court.

Police said witnesses in the area reported that a large white sedan with a blue roof left the area shortly after the report of gunshots at 8:39 p.m.

No vehicle or evidence of gunfire was found after a search of the area, police said. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact the New London Police Department's detective division at (860) 447-1481.
