East Hartford - The almost full moon rises Thursday night behind UConn fans gathered for the football season opener at Rentschler Field. The moon will officially be full this morning at 9:57, making it the second full moon of the month of August or a Blue Moon. This full moon is known as the Full Sturgeon Moon or the Green Corn Moon, according to the Farmers' Almanac.
