Three-car collision stops traffic on Route 85 in Waterford

Waterford — One woman was transported to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital as a precaution Saturday afternoon after a three-car collision on Route 85 near the entrance to Interstate 95 south.

Two of the vehicles sustained serious damage and the other had minor scrapes. The collision caused traffic near the highway interchange to be delayed for some time. The road was clear as of 4 p.m.
