North Stonington - State police on Friday arrested two men they said were involved in a three-car collision in August in which one of the men intentionally crashed a car with a small child inside.
Marc Caswell, 41, of 31 Yawbux Valley Road, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child and breach of peace. Police said that Caswell intentionally crashed his vehicle on Route 2 on Aug. 20 with a small child inside.
Rahjon Moses, 22, of Benjamin Road in New London, was charged with risk of injury to a child and breach of peace. Police said that Moses, who is facing charges on second-degree robbery and violation of probation from other incidents, was in another vehicle involved in the three-car collision. He fled the scene on foot and led police on a two-and-a-half-hour search of the surrounding area. Police also issued a warning to residents that Moses was at large.
Police said that Moses was held on a $50,000 bond at the Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Institution. He is scheduled to appear Wednesday in New London Superior Court.
Caswell was released on a $25,000 bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 28 in New London Superior Court.
