Stonington — Police have charged a second person in connection with the Aug. 27 robbery of a Westerly boy in which $4,100 worth of items, including jewelry and an iPhone, were taken.

The incident occurred at St. Michael's Cemetery at the end of Stillman Avenue in Pawcatuck.

Nicholas E. Young, 19, of Charlestown, R.I., was charged today with second-degree robbery, second-degree larceny and risk of injury to a minor. He is being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court Friday.

Last month, police charged a 15-year-old local boy with robbery, assault and larceny in connection with the incident. Police are continuing to investigate the robbery.
