State police -- Montville

Jamar O. Smith, 33, of East Hartford, was charged Sunday in New London with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving with a suspended license and speeding.

New London

Luis M. Rosario, 30, of 227 Jefferson Ave., was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license and making an improper signal.

Keyett L. McDonald, 34, of 34A Spaulding St., Norwich, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license and making an improper signal.

Wayne Britt, 19, of 33 Fourth St., No. 1, Groton, was charged Sunday with first-degree failure to appear in court and third-degree trespass.

Sphamandla Cele, 27, of 159 Hawthorne Drive, Apt. 11C, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

Edwin Martinez, 26, of 19 Franklin St., second floor, was charged Sunday with second-degree breach of peace.

Nicholas Hander, 21, of 37 Spring St., was charged Sunday with second-degree failure to appear in court and driving with a suspended license.

Norwich

Jose Velazquez, 47, of Watertown, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive right.

Gabriel Pendleton, 23, of 55 Lake St., Apt. 1, was charged Sunday with third-degree assault.

Stonington

Amanda L. Martin, 23, of West Kingtown, R.I., was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Michael Gauthier, 51, of of 17 Soundview Drive, Pawcatuck, was charged Saturday with driving with a suspended license, evading responsibility and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Waterford

Susan Cardona, 48, of 3 Flintlock Road, Ledyard, was charged Saturday with interfering with a police officer.

Joel Cardona, 20, of 3 Flintlock Road, Ledyard, was charged Saturday with interfering with a police officer and creating a public disturbance.
