Police seek witnesses to Gales Ferry crash

Ledyard — Police are seeking witnesses to a two-car crash late this morning at the intersection of Route 12 at Christy Hill Road in Gales Ferry.

There were no injuries in the 11:15 a.m. accident which police said involved a 1997 Land Rover driven by Glenn Eckmyre, 60, of 16 Palmer Drive, Gales Ferry, and a 2007 Honda Pilot driven by Sandra Chester, 44. As part of its investigation, police are asking any witnesses to contact Officer Eric Bushor at 860-464-6400.
