As part of the Harbor News's election coverage, we asked 23rd Assembly District state representative candidates Adam Stillman (D) and incumbent Marilyn Giuliano (R) to provide a thumbnail biographical sketch and answer questions about their priorities for representing District 23. Their responses, along with additional information taken from interviews and the candidates' statements at a forum hosted by Harbor News sister publication The Day, are summarized here.

The 23rd State Representative District includes all or part of the towns of Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook. Both candidates' profiles are found to the right of this article.
