The event is intended to bring attention to issues pertaining to health care and health care disparities, and to discuss possible solutions and actions individuals, policymakers, government agencies and organizations can take to achieve health justice for everyone in Connecticut.

The meeting will allow participants to learn about the issues, ask questions and share stories about how health disparities have affected their lives.

Panelists will be: Patricia Baker; president and chief executive officer of the Connecticut Health Foundation; Richard Cho, director of the Corporation for Supportive Housing; Jewel Mullen; commission of the state Department of Public Health; Frances Padilla, president of the Universal Health Foundation; and Jim Rawlings, president of the Greater New Haven Branch of the NAACP.
