The Wheeler Library in North Stonington presents an ongoing silent auction of artwork by local artists through Saturday, Oct. 27. Forty pieces of artwork in several styles and media are on display on the second floor of the library; many of them feature local scenery. Proceeds from the auction will go to the library.

On the evening of Oct. 27 the library will host a Farm-to-Table dinner, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., featuring foods donated by local farms and catered by A Thyme to Cook accompanied by a selection of beverages from Jonathan Edwards Winery and local breweries. The multi-course harvest meal will be served on the second floor of the library.

Tickets are $125 per person and are available at www.wheelerlibrary.org/giving. For more information, call (860) 535-0383.

The Wheeler Library is at 101 Main St., North Stonington.
