Given Mitt Romney's mercurial proclivity to change his policy positions and values, I sometimes wonder if Romney himself may have trouble keeping track of who he is.
Although I'm not among Mitt's 47 percent (mostly seniors and veterans) who apparently live a life of "entitled dependence," I do speculate which Romney we'll get if he's elected:
Will we get the Massachusetts pro-choice Romney, or the more recent ultra-conservative anti-choice version?
Will we get the Romney who derides China's unfair trade practices, or the Romney whose company is heavily invested in China?
The Romney who complains about the slow pace of U.S. job creation, or the one who put thousands of U.S. workers out of work by closing their companies and moving their jobs to China?
Will we get the creator of the state health care program used as the model for our federal system, or the man who sneers at Obamacare as an abomination?
Will the real Mitt Romney please stand up?
Romney can certainly talk the talks and walk the walks but can he walk the straight and narrow and tell the truth?
The American people deserve to know who this man is before the election.
