Man arrested in connection with Ledyard home invasion

State police have arrested a third man in connection with a reported home invasion last year in Ledyard.

Dawayne Sebastian, with a last known address at 136 Prospect St. in Norwich faces two counts each of home invasion, first-degree burglary, criminal use of a firearm and attempted first-degree robbery.

Sebastian's arrest is linked to an Oct. 14, 2011 home invasion at a home at 13 Marla Drive in Ledyard. State police said three men armed with handguns entered the occupied residence and robbed the victims of cash and jewelry. There were no reported injuries.

Vincent Sebastian III, 20, of 60 Coachman Pike, Ledyard, and Louis Seignious, 22, of 65 Sunny Hill, Montville, were also arrested for their role in the crime.

Following an in depth criminal investigation, state police detective said the list of suspects included Sebastian. An arrest warrant was applied for and signed.

Police said they developed information this morning that Sebastian was at a residence at 60 Coachman Pike, where they found and arrested him.

Sebastian was held on a $150,000 bond.
