The debate between Rep. Joe Courtney, D-2nd District, and his Republican challenger, Paul Formica, scheduled for Monday night at Connecticut College, has been canceled because of the impending storm.

Gary Farrugia, the publisher of The Day, made the announcement this morning after consulting with the candidates, the college and CPTV, which were collaborating on the debate.

A decision will be made Monday on whether the debate can be rescheduled before the election.
