Gov. Malloy does not tell the truth and likes to blame other people. This is the second year of his budget, nowhere is there any mention of spending cuts in the pamphlets being passed out by state legislative candidates. Malloy said prior administrations drove the car into the ditch. Not true. His own party has dominated the legislature, it was their budgets. Tired of fighting, Gov. Rell let the last budget pass into law without her signature.

All Malloy knows is raising taxes, and spending state dollars on private projects that cost a million dollars per job! What did the China trip cost? Or the security upgrade at the governor's mansion? What ever happened to all the talk of ending "excessive retirement packages" for state employees?

Now the governor urges all to convert to natural gas to save money. Watch, he will find a way to tax it out of your pocket long before you get the money there. Is it any wonder that Forbes found Connecticut the worst state for senoirs to retire in? We took that distinction from Illinois.

Re-electing the same people guarantees it will be business as usual - spend, spend, spend. We will continue losing our promising young professionals.
