The Day wins EPPY for advertising, marketing campaign

Editor & Publisher magazine has recognized The Day as an EPPY Award winner in its annual competition, as announced Tuesday.  The Day Passport was named Best Online Advertising/Marketing Campaign in the under 1 million unique monthly visitors category.

Theday.com was a finalist in two categories: Best News or Event Feature on a Website with 1 million unique monthly visitors and over and Best Use of Photography on a Website with under 1 million unique monthly visitors. This is the second consecutive year theday.com was a finalist for the best use of photography award.

"The EPPY awards are considered one of the highest honors in the publishing industry, and we are thrilled that our member rewards program has once again been acknowledged among the best," said Daniel L. Williams, director of Audience Development.
