Jacqueline Hubbard Speaks to AAUW Nov. 14

Ivoryton Playhouse Executive Director Jacqueline Hubbard is the guest speaker at the Wednesday, Nov. 14 meeting of the Lower Connecticut Valley Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW). The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. at Acton Public Library, 60 Old Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook.

Hubbard has been with the theater for 20 years, guiding it from a three-month summer theater to a vibrant, full-time professional theater, producing seven plays annually. She recently won the Connecticut Critics Circle award for Outstanding Contribution to Theater. At the Nov. 14 meeting, she will discuss her role in contributing to the 100 successful years of the playhouse.

The public is invited to the meeting.
