New London man remains critical after tree trimming fall

Stonington — A 50-year-old New London man remained in critical condition Sunday after falling off a ladder while trimming trees a day earlier.

Police said Faheem Abdul-Jabar, a contractor, was working at a home at 30 Montauk Ave. when he fell about 15 feet. He was unconscious when he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital late Saturday afternoon.
