Wethersfield – The Department of Motor Vehicles is ending extensions on the expiration dates of licenses, registrations and emissions tests on Nov. 19.
These extensions, which started on Oct. 29, also resulted in the waiver of late fees for these credentials while the state grappled with the effects of Hurricane Sandy.
Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 20, enforcement action may be taken on expired licenses, registrations and non-compliant emissions. In addition, DMV and AAA offices will also be charging late fees, which varies depending on the violation.
